01What we do
Findings closed, not just findings listed.
Practical, hands-on support from people who have worked inside the operations they audit.
- 01Core service
IOSA preparation and support
Gap analysis against the current IOSA Standards Manual, documentation review, conformance evidence packs and mock audits, so your team walks into the registration or renewal audit knowing exactly where it stands.
- 02
Flight operations safety investigation
Independent investigation of operational events and occurrences, looking past the immediate cause to the systemic and human factors, with practical recommendations your crews and managers can act on.
- 03
Safety management systems
Design, implementation and review of safety management systems: hazard identification, risk assessment, safety performance indicators and a healthy reporting culture.
- 04
Regulatory compliance
Independent internal audits, compliance monitoring and preparation for authority inspections, with corrective actions followed through to closure.
- 05

Every engagement is led by someone who has flown the line, run flight operations and sat on the other side of the audit table.

Powered by Aerity Intelligence
CrossCheck: high-precision compliance at lower cost.
Aerity Intelligence CrossCheck is the platform ASCSS uses to carry out compliance and safety work under IOSA, ISSA, EASA and national authority rules. It finds the standard, the passage in your manuals and the evidence behind it, and cites every one. That makes our audits more precise and takes weeks of cross-referencing out of the cost of an engagement, so our auditors spend their time judging rather than searching.
The human in the loop is always an ASCSS auditor: trained and certified, and accountable for every word of the report. CrossCheck prepares the ground; our auditors decide.
Every finding and every conformity decision in an ASCSS engagement is made by a trained and certified ASCSS auditor, never by the software.- Each ISARP mapped to the manual sections that address it, every link cited to the page
- The evidence matrix built as we go: requirement, procedure, evidence, gaps
- Your documents stay private to your engagement, never used to train a model
- Every finding and every conformity call is made by a trained and certified ASCSS auditor, never by the software
04About ASCSS
An airline operator's view of safety and compliance.
ASCSS is an Irish aviation consultancy founded to support airlines, airports and other aviation organisations in safety, compliance and operational assurance.
ASCSS was founded by Patrick Devereux, who leads the company as Managing Director. Patrick has worked in aviation for more than 35 years. His career spans service as an airline pilot, senior airline flight operations management, safety and compliance work, and airline audit. He completed IATA's IOSA Airline Auditor Training in Geneva, passing with Distinction.
That background shapes how we work. We understand the pressures inside an operation because we have carried them, and we bring that perspective to every audit, investigation and improvement plan. Our aim is to support IOSA-registered airlines worldwide and to contribute to IOSA audits as part of appointed audit teams.
Safety · Integrity · Compliance · Excellence
